What a Typical Lesson Looks Like

We Start With Comfort & Safety

Before any swimming skill is introduced, Avery builds water comfort and reviews basic safety rules. For nervous or hesitant children, this phase can take as long as it needs to — there's no rush.

  • Water entry and exit safely
  • Floating on back and front
  • Breath control and blowing bubbles
  • "Stop, don't run" and pool-edge rules

Skills Build Lesson by Lesson

Each session builds on the last. Avery tracks your child's progress and adapts each lesson to push them just far enough — challenging without overwhelming.

  • Kicking technique and arm strokes
  • Freestyle, backstroke, and more
  • Treading water and independent swimming
  • Turning, diving, and underwater skills

We Always End on a Win

Avery wraps every lesson with a positive moment — a skill mastered, a goal reached, or just a fun game in the water. Kids leave excited for next time, not exhausted or discouraged.

  • Recap of what was practiced
  • A quick progress note to share with parents
  • Goals set for the next session
  • Smiles mandatory 😊
